  • I can help you navigate the tongue tie question.

I can assess for tongue tie, guide you in the referral process, help with breastfeeding support before and after frenotomy.

If your baby is diagnosed with tongue tie it is recommended to first work with an expert on improving positioning and attachment. If your baby needs frenotomy you’ll need breastfeeding support in place to help as your baby re-learns to use their tongue.

If your babies oral function is particularly complex I may suggest you see a tongue tie practitioner for diagnosis.

  • Reach out and we can decide wheather to consult on phone, zoom or in person.

I am trained, qualified, insured and experienced in all these options.

  • Please feel free to call me and we can talk things though. I may be able to accommodate you at my weekly group or refer you to a different type of professional.

  • If you are mixed feeding or formula feeding I can still help.

My training is in all infant feeding plus baby care.

I’m happy to support every family to meet their feeding goals, whatever they may be.

  • Hands-off is no problem!

My background as a breastfeeding peer supporter means I’m very familiar with respectfully working hands off.

With every client I will always get written permission in advance plus always ask each time before reaching out to touch you.

If you prefer a hands-free appointment this is no problem.

  • I’m happy to support every family with their breastfeeding goals including breastfeeding cessation and de-brief of breastfeeding experiences.

  • This is a common question.

I run group workshops on this subject or can offer an individual appointment to discuss your unique goals, situation, working hours and childcare choices.

  • I totally understand that life with a baby is unpredictable.

    I can sometimes rearrange appointments.

    Communicable diseases policy

I am up to date with covid and flu vaccines, I will wear gloves for oral exams and wash hands but it will not always be practical to remain two meters apart during the consultation.

Therefore some risk is unavoidable regarding transmission.

I’m happy to wea a mask if you’d like me to just ask.
